Welcome!

My name is Rhiannon Fisher. I’m a writer from Southern California who loves to both read and write fantasy, romance (yes, that includes romantasy), historical fiction, and mythology.

I got my BA in Creative Writing and Public Policy/Political Science from the University of Redlands in sunny SoCal in 2019, and finished up my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2022.

Some of my favorite books of all time are The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan, anything in the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuinston, If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio, and really anything that can make me forget that I’m reading.

I am a lover of autumn, slow burn romances, the Oxford Comma, and trinkets from the past that have no practical use in modern life. I am an avid hater of bad adaptations (I’m looking at you original Percy Jackson movies), and the way cotton balls feel when you squeeze them.

I’m bisexual, and love reading and writing queer stories.

I also dabble in fan fiction. No, none of you will ever know what I write on there.
